'Gloriosa' Water Lily
is a another great water lily that you can choose for your
water garden. This water lily is a day blooming lily with a
slight fragrance to it. Fragrant water lilies are mostly seen
in tropical water lilies but this one you can smell it when
you get close to your garden pond. The Gloriosa water lily is
a red hardy water lily and is ideal for small, medium, and
large garden ponds. The great thing about hardy water lilies
is that over wintering hardy water lilies is easy as they are
winter hardy and will go dormant over the winter. The Gloriosa
water lily is just one of many types of red water lilies and
this water lily when it sprouts new leaves, the lily pad
leaves are a slight purple. Another great looking water plant
and would be a nice addition to your garden pond to add to
your growing collection of water lilies. In order to make sure
you have excellent growing water lilies, be sure to fertilize
them every 2 weeks to have beautiful blooming lilies all
summer long. |
