Shipping and Handling Information
We ship all orders for water plants using either UPS or Canada Post Expresspost
to ensure safe arrival which
means you will receive your plants within 3 business days. All orders are shipped the very next day from time
the order is placed. All orders are shipped with coverage and
delivery confirmation. Water plant orders are shipped in a proper
size box and may contain and ice pack depending on time of year
plants are being shipped. Plants are packed to arrive to you
healthy and alive.

Shipping Schedule
Hardy Water Lilies - shipping begins in April to
October
Tropical Water Lilies- begins in late May to September
Marginals- Begins in late May to October
All plants are shipped bare root and contain no soil
We can ship orders through a variety of shipping services.
Please note all shipping destinations are in different zones so we
may be able to still ship you water lilies and other aquatic
plants based on your zone. For instance where we live in New
Brunswick we still have snow here in March but In British
Columbia they are experiencing warmer whether and therefore can
ship these pond plants.
Please use our schedule as a guide but if you want your water plants early
send us a quick email and we'll be more then happy to ship them to
you when you want.
Shipping Of Pond Supplies
Please note we cannot ship your pond plants and water lilies in
the same box as dry goods. Pond supplies are shipped directly from
warehouse in California. It usually takes between 7-10 days to get
your order. If however you want your pond supplies shipped to
you quicker please let us know so we can provide you an accurate
shipping quote.

**Important News On Exporting Water Lilies
and Other Aquatic Plants To The US**
For all orders coming from the United States please inquire
on pricing for shipping quote on all plant orders. All orders
being exported in the United States require a phytosanitary
certificate that I need to complete in order to ship to the US.
All orders coming in from the US will need to send me a quick
email with your order and your complete address in order to
provide you an accurate shipping quote. I may be adding a paypal
button in the near future for additional shipping cost and phyto
cost which will then allow US customers to use shopping cart as
well by simply adding that to their order. For the time being all
orders from the US will need to send me an email and I will email
you a Paypal invoice for payment. I will update this page when the
shopping cart will be available for US customers as well when the
time comes.
Updated News Concerning shipping to
the United States
All orders to the US will be shipped out by UPS on Mondays.
Please send us an email with your order so we may supply you a
shipping cost.
An invoice through Paypal will be sent to you right away.
Please note a phytosanitary certificate is required in order to be
shipped.
Phytosanitary Certificate cost $15 for all orders under $1600
Phytosanitary Certificate cost $50 for all orders over $1600
Please note a plant permit will be required for orders of more
the 13 plants but mostly applies to wholesale clients buying in
large quantities.
Just as a reminder, you will be responsible for any additional
duties or taxes upon delivery. Your order will be sent out as soon
as we receive payment.

At Water Plants For Ponds we aim at providing our customers a
nice size water lily tuber. As you can see in the pictures above
size may vary depending on type of water lily. As seen in the last
water lily photo is actually of the Chubby Water Lily and you can
see the nice lily pad growth but the tuber is generally small but the
leaves and plant growth definitely make up for it. These pictures
are to provide you a rough idea on the size of water lily rhizomes
you will buy. Some water lilies will have more growth then others
but we will give you the best looking aquatic plants for your
